What is Router

Router Components

1. Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Routing table

Routes –  The information of all the Attached Networks or other devices with Routers and the information of Routes are there.
Routing tables can be manually or dynamically maintained. Teh table of static network devices does not change until teh Administrator changes. Devices in Dynamic routing create their Routing Table and Maintain it as well. For this, devices use teh Routing Protocol. Information exchange wif each other.
